Join RWW at Novelspotters!

I'd love for you all to come and join me and my fellow critique partner, Marty Kindall, Betty Womack, Pam Champange and Robyn Wren, possibly a few others at Novelspotters. This Saturday starting at 10. You'll get a glimpse of how we interact and see how goofy we can get when we're together. I love and respect each and everyone of these ladies. We'll be giving away prizes. So come by and have fun with us.

I wanted to thank Lena for her wonderful review of Fire & Ice at Fallen Angel.

Fire & Ice

Knox Manning has had a hard couple of weeks lately all starting when a house burned down bringing him to Melanie Sharp. She is a woman who is opposite from the type he normally dates not only in looks but on the inside as well. She is a smart and talented artist working in sculptures and painting, something that he’s never been interested in before. A secret admirer wanting to get closer to you more than ever is not your typical arsonist. He’s putting Melanie’s life in danger as well as her reputation in the art world. Knox has to deal with Melanie and a family crisis in his life along with some big changes that are shocking him. He always thought that he would never love a woman, yet Melanie is making him wish for the impossible: for the love of a woman to be with him forever.

Melanie Sharpe is a woman whose life is being played because of a stupid man that won’t leave her alone. She never dated married men yet for some reason, this imbecile thinks she belongs to him. There’s only one man she wants but doesn’t know why. Knox Manning is not the type she typically goes for. He’s a firefighter and she’s an artist, making their hobbies and interests so far apart. Melanie knows she doesn’t have the hourglass figure but with Knox, she feels beautiful and sexy for the first time. Still, something is stopping her from loving him. She needs to know that he believes her that she didn’t set the house on fire. Can Knox believe that she’s telling the truth before she ends up dead from the cheating husband?

Knox and Melanie are so right for one another, yet they are blind to see that they have strong feelings for one another. I loved Knox because even though he has fallen in love for the first time, he has to work hard to make Melanie see that he’s sincere. In Fire & Ice, Jerri Drennen has all the things that make this a hot and definite keep-worthy romance. It’s got action, sex and romance, which makes me wish for my own firefighter. I really hope there’s a story for Melanie’s friend Kay. Fire & Ice is filled with lots of romance and heat that make Knox and Melanie burn yet with a sizzle that will make you want more. Awesome job Jerri Drennen. Reviewed by: Lena C.
